Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in “Comments for the Editor”).
  • The author is aware of the policies of the journal, particularly the reviewing process and the Code of Conduct.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx), file format. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than bold or underlining; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the full-text of the submission is anonymized, including the file properties.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. Where available, DOIs or URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The article is accompanied by the Authorisation and Disclaimer form for publication, completed and signed by all authors. The author is committed, under his own responsibility, to obtain the release of the copyrighted images and to provide, in case it becomes necessary, a written declaration of release to the Editor of the journal. The author relieves the journal from any liability in the event of a dispute.
