Abstract

The history of mathematics is considered an important and useful knowledge for teaching activities and, therefore, for the professionalism of teachers.
The introduction and theoretical justification of a specific category of historical knowledge of mathematics between disciplinary and pedagogical ones is proposed in the framework of Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching.
